South Africa produces a wide range of citrus fruits. The citrus plantations are situated throughout the country, on the West Coast, the East Coast, the South Coast as well as inland. Consequently, there are a variety of citrus oil qualities and thus South African citrus oils can match those from many different regions of the world.

The citrus oils we offer are:
Orange oil (Mid-Season and Valencia)
Lemon oil
Grapefruit oil (White, Pink & Red)
Tangerine oil
Lime oil (distilled and cold-pressed)
Clementine

We produce, from the above oils, a number of citrus extracts, which include:
Folded citrus oils – 5, 10 and 20 fold – of Orange, Lemon,
  Grapefruit, Lime and Tangerine
Distillates such as D-Limonene, Valencene and Nootkatone
Citrus aldehydes and citrus sesquiterpenes
Citrus aroma oils, such as Orange Aroma oil, Lemon Aroma oil
Grapefruit Aroma oil and Tangerine Aroma oil

The citrus season in South Africa starts in the month of April and ends in September. The harvest time is as follows:
Grapefruit – Mid-April through to late June
Lemon – June through to September
Navel Orange – June/July
Valencia Orange – July/August/September
Tangerine – July/August

Oil is normally available 3-4 weeks after the commencement of the fruit harvest.
