The onset of Covid-19 has seen the implementation of various new safety protocols within organisations. These protocols are vital in the fight against the spread of the Coronavirus. With the use of in-house manufactured products, Teubes has been able to deliver excellent Covid-19 preventative measures to keep employees and their families safe.
UNDERSTANDING THE RESPONSIBILITY OF SAFETY PROTOCOLS
As an essential product supplier, the organisational leaders at Teubes understood the responsibility of keeping its operations open to service food and beverage, pharmaceutical, and cleaning product manufacturing industries. In order to do this, safety measures of the highest quality had to be administered and adhered to.
Regulations and protocols implemented:
- All advisory protocols were implemented, such as the regular use of hand sanitisers, regular hand washing, the wearing of masks, and taking the temperature of any person entering the business premises.
- Staff were protected through supplying each member of the team an immune booster called Aerocare (a product made with Teubes’ raw materials and produced and sold by Ashkan). Adding just one drop of this product to a bath, shower, or diffuser daily for inhalation offers immense immune system benefits. The Teubes staff receive one bottle of Aerocare monthly.
- Employees also each receive their own antiviral lemon hand wash and 70% ISO Propyl alcohol hand sanitiser infused with anti-viral essential oils. Hand sanitisers were also placed throughout the business premises.
- Anti-viral foggers are used on a weekly basis to sanitise the premises, and surfaces are frequently washed down with an antiviral-lemon spray.
- Employees are not allowed to take public transport. Instead, two minibuses are rented for collection and drop-off of all employees requiring transport.
- Other products that are freely available to employees are essential oils, such as tea-tree oil which has strong anti-viral, anti-sceptic, and anti-inflammatory properties.
- A variety of essential oils are added to Scatters’ (Teubes’ sister company) range of diffuser oils which are used throughout the offices.
- Teubes has placed emphasis on educating its staff regarding good health protocols such as healthy diet, vitamins, and immune booster products.
- Any employee who presents with any possible symptoms is immediately tested at the organisation’s cost, and these employees then stay home for the required two-week period. Thus far each person tested has been negative and there have been no Covid cases within the organisation.
Keeping up with these protocols may be a costly business at times, but it does not come near the cost of human life and wellbeing that would be incurred should the regulations not be followed.
