The wonderful Pine Tree, known scientifically as the Pinus Sylvestris, is one of the worlds most celebrated trees. The symbol of the tree evokes connotations such as warm log cabins and joy filled holiday festivities. Reportedly, this tree originated in Russia and Austria but has since been cultivated in various different parts of the world; so much so that the Pine Tree has become a recognisable symbol for a very high global percentage of the population, particularly as it is known as the preferred tree (either real or a synthetic replication thereof) for the use as a Christmas tree.
